Nestled in a serene and inspiring environment, Rock Street Studio has been the heart of creativity since 2001. Rock Street Artist Residency, founded by artist, educator, and curator Kristine Treasure Hunter, is the realization of her dream to create a nurturing space where artists of all mediums, backgrounds, and stages in their creative journeys can thrive. Kristine envisioned a place that fosters collaboration, growth, and artistic exploration—a community where magic happens.

Kristine is joined by her loyal dog, Bob the Beagle, and the ever-charming Gals (the chickens of Rock) in welcoming you to a truly unforgettable residency experience.

Residency Details
We are currently accepting two artists per residency cycle. Each resident artist will be provided with their own private bedroom and dedicated studio space, allowing for maximum creative focus and comfort. During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with fellow artists and the local community through a range of optional activities, including:

• Artist presentations
• Literature nights
• Open studios
• Guest dinners

In addition to these structured events, we encourage spontaneous communal activities such as sketch walks, figure drawing sessions, and other collaborative projects—tailored to the season and the needs of the artists.

Meals & Culinary Experience
As part of the residency, all meals are included. Enjoy gourmet meals prepared daily with care, featuring locally sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible. Whether you’re seeking quiet reflection or vibrant conversation, shared meals provide a warm, communal atmosphere to nourish both body and creativity.
