Flight Information

Sawyer International Airport. 13 miles away, approximately 25 minutes away. Transportation will be provided if you fly into this airport.

Other Airports you can choose to fly into (transportation from these airports are your responsibility): 

Ford Airport, Iron Mountain, Mi. 61 miles away. Approximately 1 hour 32 minutes travel time.

Delta County Airport, Escanaba, Mi. 69 miles away. Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. 

Austin Straubel Airport, Green Bay, WI. 178 miles away. Approximately 3 hours.

· IMPORTANT: There are very limited flights into Marquette each day.                                    

· Arrival to RSAR not before 2 pm.

· Departure is at 12 noon.                       

· Please fill out the Travel Form as soon as you have arranged itinerary.

Art Supplies

Please make sure to pack the supplies you will need at the residency. There are local hardware stores (Ace Hardware, Menards, Lowes) and a Michael’s art supply store. We can make one initial run to the stores when you arrive. Please make sure you have what you need in your shipment or check these local stores for needed supplies. We want the residency to run smoothly for you and being prepared with your materials will aid in that. 

Please make sure you give ample times for your supplies to arrive. Sending your supplies 2-4 weeks prior to your residency is suggested. For the sake of your time being used wisely at RSAR we can assist in shipping after you leave.
